In order to get hot topics for your blog or internet product, we need to know the trend of people on the web. In other word, we need to give our reader what they wanted or most curious about in certain period or season. To find out what the current trend and topics that people would be interested in, I turn to another great toy from Google. It’s called Google Trends.

Google Trends, work in a similar fashion as off a normal keyword research tools. In a normal keyword research tools, they just show you keyword popularity by counting how many times a keyword have been used in a fixed time period.

In Google Trends, the statistic provided are way much more useful because you can section out your analysis data by yearly, monthly or even daily basis. It display a graphical line chart and you can localize the result just from your country choice too.
