Did the above bridge look familiar to you? Yes you are right! It is the famous Brooklyn Bridge in New York build by John A. Roebling which he started in the late 1856 and completed 11 years later.  The reason i wan to highlight this is not that i want to adore American structures or whatsover but just to share with you a amazing lesson that i learned from John struggles  in completing his building of the bridge.

What is the lesson you may ask… well i won’t tell you till you finished reading this article…

In 1883, a creative engineer named John A. Roebling was inspired by an idea to build a spectacular bridge connecting New York with the Long Island. However bridge building experts throughout the world thought that this was an impossible feat and told Roebling to forget the idea. An Inspiring Story, A little boy been biten by alligator

It have been some some weeks since i wrote anything in my blog here. This was due to heavy workload for the pass few weeks.

The below is a story that been mailed to me. I think its quite inspiring so i post it here for your reading pleasure. Hope you like it cause i personally like it very much.

Well… here’s the story and how it goes……

Some years ago, on a hot summer day in south Florida, a little boy decided to go for a swim in the old swimming hole that was behind his house. In a hurry to dive into the cool water, he ran out the back door, leaving behind shoes, socks, and shirt as he went.

He flew into the water, not realizing that as he swam toward the middle of the lake, an alligator was swimming toward the shore.

In the house, his mother was looking out the window. She saw the two as they got closer and closer together. In utter fear, she ran toward the water, yelling to her son as loudly as she could. Read the rest of this entry »

There Simply Ain’t No Free Lunch

This is a true story that I’ve taken from one of the motivational books that I’m reading at this moment. This book is called “See You at the Top” by one of the world most renowned self-help guru named Zig Ziglar. This story was so meaningful that I would like to share it with all of you.

I have to re-write some part of the story so that it’s easier to read and at the same time I can practice my own writing skills. I hope you guys and gals find it resourcefulness.

Well…. Here the story goes…

Some year back, some domestic hogs (a.k.a. pigs in the wild) escaped from captivity and went into a remote area of the mountain. Over a period of time and several generations past, these hogs grew larger and become smarter and wilder until they have become a menace and dangerous to anyone that crossed over their territory.
