Seeing Zig Ziglar for the 1st Time talking to audience on Goal Settings

I must admit that I am a lazy reader and that’s why I seldom read books. To overcome this laziness, I found another yet lazy solution. That is to have the author of the book read it to me.. hehee.. :o) Not really read to me in person, it is listen to their audio CD.

I will normally turn on a motivational/self help CD whenever I was driving on the road. It had become a habit for me now. Anyway, it is a good habit because it really broaden our mind and build characters in listening to motivational things. My car now become my personal University on Wheels for Success.

Zig Ziglar audio CD is one of my most listened audio after Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. Zig Ziglar is a fast talker with a good clarity of each word he put out of his mouth. The Tomato Story - You Will Know What Is Better When It Comes To Earning Money.

A story that i received in my mailbox. It is about a man that make a fortune in the new technological and internet era without having a e-mail account. What!!!!
 
I’m wondering though whether this is a real or a made-up story. Anyway, here’s the story goes….

A Jobless man applied for the position of “office boy” at Microsoft. The HR manager interviewed him then watched him cleaning the floor as a test.

“You are employed” he said. Give me your e-mail address and I’ll send you he application to fill in, as well as date when you may start.

The man replied “But I don’t have a computer, neither an email”.

“I’m sorry”, said the HR manager. If you don’t have an email, that means you do not exist. And who doesn’t exist, cannot have the job.”

The man left with no hope at all. He didn’t know what to do, with only $10 in his pocket. He then decided to go to the supermarket and buy a 10Kg tomato crate. He then sold the tomatoes in a door to door round.
